A short overview about who is involved in the project and what made us create Moon Vault

Background

Before we started Moon Vault, we gathered personal experience in DeFi related websites including yield aggregators. Often we missed important information but also small features that would provide user friendliness. The most important aspect that we missed in many projects was transparency in fees and profit expectations. For example: The transfer tax is often an additional cost but almost never mentioned. We do not have hidden costs. Fees and taxes will be shown transparently. An additional window calculates all fees and taxes and displays the time to break even for you.

The other important aspect we missed was simply user friendliness. We often wasted time while navigating through the website. We have tried to make our user interface as intuitive as possible, so that everyone can operate the site fast and efficiently. This also includes information like the APR over a period of time or the price of an LP Token. While the former is important for investment decisions, the latter saves time while operating the site.

    • I live in Germany and I am 30 years old. I started to learn coding when I was 12 years old, starting with scripting languages, RPG Maker games and finally learned C++, which was my "native language" for a long time. I worked in multiple sectors, like industrial image recognition, Control software for CNC machines and ERP systems. Meanwhile as hobby I wrote my own programming language for automatization, games, a music library and a lot of modules, like a graphic engine, network engine, physics engine... I never liked using existing libraries, but preferred to code them myself, to fully understand the topic. Starting 2021 I invested in crypto and taught myself Solidity & React. Overall I have experience with C++, C#, Java, PHP, HTML, JS and Solidity.
